In the year 2021, Madison Grace Shelby, an average high school student, has been assigned to do a big report on life one hundred years ago: the 1920s. Faced with a lot of work, she does what any teenager would do: she procrastinates. It's all part of her process.

When she's good and ready to start her report, she pulls out her phone and uses a special Time Traveling App to zap herself back to 1920! She's now a first-hand witness to prohibition, flappers, gangsters, and...MURDER?  Uh-oh!

History is being altered because someone from 2021 is visiting 1920! Can she fix the past, find a killer, and get enough information for her report before her phone battery dies?

Mystery, Murder, and Mayhem

Mystery, Murder, and Mayhem

Featuring the all-star production, cast, and crew formerly of Agatha’s in downtown Atlanta, Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette is an interactive murder mystery dinner unlike any other. The event showcases unique, original, hilarious murder mysteries with live actors and audience participation, paired with a four-course dinner of fine French food. Shows run every Friday night at 8 p.m., Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., and, beginning in October, Sundays at 3 p.m. (with check-in beginning 15 to 30 minutes prior to show starts).

This special brand of comedic murder mysteries is centered on making the audience laugh continuously, while also keeping them guessing. Our audience participation is a little different than other murder mysteries, but it’s also WAY more fun. Two professional actors greet all guests at the door to explain how the evening is going to be played out. At that time, the actors will give every audience member a part in the show. Parts can range from playing a character in the show, complete with costumes, or a smaller part in a group with many other guests. Participation is highly encouraged, as we try to make the audience the star, but it’s not required. Guests who want to sit back, relax and enjoy a great evening of food and laughter with friends and family, will get exactly that.

Paired with top-notch entertainment is an outstanding four-course meal. The gourmet meal begins with a variety of appetizers, followed by a fresh salad with a choice of dressings. You can enjoy this course with a glass of wine that’s included in the ticket price. Next, you have a choice of five entrees including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. If you have a food allergy, please let us know so we can try to accommodate you. These entrees change seasonally with each show and are always made with the freshest ingredients. Your final course is homemade dessert. Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette can be a long, fun night, so leave room for dessert!

Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette is designed for adults and is recommended for those aged 10 and over only (special considerations can be made for holiday shows). Shows take place in our Bordeaux Room, a private banquet space. All reservations must be made online, and no refunds can be given.
