Only 3 More Shows of Murder Impossible: Nitefort's Dead Reckoning

There are only 3 more shows of Murder Impossible: Nitefort's Dead Reckoning. So what are you waiting for? Make reservations now to see this spoof of spy movies and video games. Laugh out loud, become a beloved character, and dine on delicious foods between acts of the show. This is your mission, should you choose to accept it.

When the fate of the world hangs in the balance, you can always count on Ethan Stunt, the renegade top-secret agent of an elite organization known as Mission Espionage Headquarters (or MEH). Ethan eats excitement for breakfast, and he never avoids pulse-pounding, often unnecessary tactics, whether it’s climbing insanely tall buildings, hanging off an airplane in midair, or driving a motorcycle really, really fast. Ethan’s latest mission: locate a deadly object that could end all life on Earth—AGAIN—probably. That's ok. He's used to that.

But when the evil Mastermind of NiteFort, the most epic online/ arcade/ handheld game ever, discovers Ethan is closing in, he does the unthinkable. He pulls Ethan into a world he knows nothing about ....INSIDE the game of NiteFort. Light the fuse and ignite the thrills, as you’re enlisted to help Ethan Stunt, Lara Croft, Luther the Lyft Driver, some token Russian bad guys, and a whole lot of your favorite video game characters, as Ethan tries to find the killer and maybe even save the world!

Dinner and a Diva: Roberto Devereux

Dinner and a Diva: Roberto Devereux

Join us and the Capitol City Opera singers, on Tuesday, May 20th, for Dinner and a Diva, a night of delicious food and performances from Ludwig van Donizetti’s Roberto Devereux. In addition to an evening of music, you’ll enjoy a gourmet four-course dinner with wine, leaving you with an evening to remember. Your dinner will include a sampling of premium hors d’ oeuvres, fresh salad, choice of two gourmet entrees, decadent dessert, hot coffee/tea, and two glasses of fine wine, all for only $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar open at 6:15 p.m., and the dinner and show start promptly at 7:00 p.m.

“Roberto Devereux shows Donizetti at the height of his musical and dramatic powers. The opera’s story was inspired by a familiar, even notorious, historical incident, but, as in many stage works of the time, history is used merely as a springboard from which the operatic imagination can soar. The tragic confrontation between Queen Elizabeth I of England and her sometime favorite Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex, ended with Devereux’s execution for treason. The dramatic premise of an older woman in power and a younger man at her mercy provided Donizetti with the opportunity to write some of his most theatrical music.”
