On Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13, we're serving a special four-course holiday menu, all day long! From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., enjoy a prix-fixemenu featuring a choice of each of hot soup, fresh salad, gourmet entree, and decadent dessert, for just $44.95 per person. (NOTE: We will not be serving our regular lunch and dinner menus on this day.) We'll also offer a special three-course children's menu featuring a fruit cup, choice of entree (chicken fingers or grilled cheese with French fries, or spaghetti with marinara or butter and parmesan), and an ice cream sundae, for just $9.95 per person. In the past, we’ve always offered a special Sunday Brunch on Mother’s Day. This year, we decided that we wanted to serve up the opportunity to pamper Mom all day long with a hot, gourmet meal that she wouldn’t have to cook (or clean) herself. We are excited to see the families we have grown up with during our 43 years in business, as well as some new ones who have found us in our new home in the past year, for brunch or dinner, this year!
Savory soup choices include: Creamy Potato Leek Soup or rich Lobster Bisque.
Crisp salad selections include: Salade Alsacienne with spinach, apples, grapes, walnuts, and gruyere cheese all tossed in pear vinaigrette or Petite Violette Mixed Greens Salad topped with almonds, tomato, sharp cheddar, bacon, avocado, and chipotle ranch dressing.
Featured entrees are: Seared Jumbo Scallops, grilled Rack of Lamb, gulf Jumbo Shrimp and Grits, the famous Beef Wellington, Blackened Salmon, prime Delmonico Steak, French favorite Coq au Vin, and Escalopes de Veau (pan seared veal scaloppini over spinach ravioli).
Rice, potatoes, or grits and asparagus accompany most entrees.
Decadent dessert options top off the meal. They are: award-winning New Orleans Chocolate Bread Pudding, classic Crème Brulee, “Chocolate Chocolate” Cake (flourless chocolate cake), Strawberries a la Romanoff, and Tarte aux Pommes (house made apple tart).
