We are closed on Monday, May 30, in honor of Memorial Day. We thank our service men and women for their sacrifices in keeping our country safe, and we honor the fallen. All gave some, some gave all.
We will bring our Scratch Cuisine Food Truck to the 13th Annual East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival this Saturday, May 21, from noon to 5p.m. Check out this fun festival and sample some of our food truck eats including: Chicken and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches, Pork Carnitas Tacos, Pimento Cheese Baguettes, and Chicken Finger and French Fries Baskets. The 13th Annual East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival will be held in East Atlanta’s Brownwood Park and looks to be better than ever. From a great beer selection to early access VIP entry to rocking music, the East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival is an event not to be missed! Proceeds from the Festival go to local organizations to fund projects that make East Atlanta a great place to live.
Our Scratch Cuisine Food Truck is out on the streets again this Saturday. On Saturday, May 7, we'll be at the Duluth Art Walk, an exciting event featuring interactive art from colorful Tree Wrappings, Tweet & Seek, Dance, Theatre, Music, Eat Like A Local, Geocaching Art Scavenger Hunts, Digital Art and more! Find us on the Duluth Town Green, from 11am-5pm.
Our own Tiffany Waymon, 29, was diagnosed with an advanced form of ovarian cancer and will undergo aggressive treatment soon. While she does have insurance, the cost of copays, medicines and other items not covered by insurance, plus her living expenses while out of work, are overwhelming. To show our support, we are hosting a fundraiser on Friday, May 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please join us for a delicious hors d'oeuvres buffet with a carving station, live musical entertainment by "the" Berne Poliakoff, exciting raffles, a silent auction, a cash bar and more. Suggested donation is $35 per person. We've partnered with Scratch Cuisine to bring mobile food to the masses. Our new Food Truck is serving up classic offerings like Philly and Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwiches, Chicken Tenders with French Fries, Pork Carnitas Tacos, Pimento Cheese on French Baguettes and Cobb Salads, every Monday through Friday in April, at 1298 Spring Street (on the Northwest Corner of 16th and Spring). Walk up for a lunch change of pace! (We'll be adding some Petite Auberge classic continental and fine French food options soon.)
