New year, new opera dinner. Join us for the first Dinner and a Diva of 2026, on Tuesday, January 20th. Hear highlights of Pirates of Penzance while enjoying a gourmet four-course meal. In addition to an evening of live music performed by the Capitol City Opera Company’s singers, you’ll enjoy premium hors d’ oeuvres, fresh salad, choice of two gourmet entrees, decadent dessert, hot coffee/tea, and two glasses of fine wine, all for only $75 per person (plus tax for $81) and gratuity. Featuring the all-star production, cast, and crew formerly of Agatha’s: A Taste of Mystery, Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem at Petite Violette is an interactive murder mystery dinner unlike any other. The event showcases unique, original, hilarious murder mysteries with live actors and audience participation, paired with a four-course dinner of fine French food. Shows run on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m., Saturday nights at 7 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 3:30 p.m. (check-in starts half an hour earlier). The cost per person is $75 plus tax and gratuity. Seating is family-style, so guests get a chance to sit with the star of the show. Reservations required, via our website.

It’s time for the 277th Annual Fakey's Holiday Parade!  Department store supervisor Doris Skeptical is trying to keep everything running smoothly, but things seem to be going from bad to horribly bad.  Some of the parade balloons have gotten loose, the main attraction is keeping warm at the bottom of a bottle, and her boss is on her back about sales and profits!  She needs a miracle. Unfortunately, what she gets is … a murder.  Someone is definitely trying to cancel the holidays.  

That’s why Doris has always taught her daughter Suzie that the holidays are a sham.

But when Suzie meets some magical holiday folks that make her start to wonder if her mom has gotten it wrong about the holidays. She travels to the North Pole to try and discover the truth, but ends up in a bigger mystery than anyone could possibly imagine. Suzie has to solve the murders, help her mom, and save the holidays in “The Trial of the Century”, all while making sure everyone gets their dinner on time!

Join Suzie, The Elf on the Shelf, The Grinch, and all of your favorite holiday characters as she faces off against every single holiday bad guy ever … and lawyers … and basically everyone who doesn’t believe. We’ll convince you that there’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than at Petite Violette this holiday season!

Join us for the Madrigal Singers Boar’s Head Feast, the Capitol City Opera Company’s annual holiday celebration, held on Monday December 15th, Tuesday, December 16th, and Thursday, December 18th. You’ll enjoy a four-course meal fit for a French royal of the Renaissance age and see the Madrigal Singers, an a cappella vocal ensemble, perform secular and sacred holiday hits and Christmas carols, while decked out in Renaissance period costume! Tickets are only $75 per person ($81 with tax; includes all fees, but gratuity is separate). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the performance starts at 7 p.m.

Ring in the new year with us and enjoy a six-course New Year’s Eve Menu and champagne toast, on Wednesday, December 31. Enjoy a choice of each of premium hors d’oeuvres, hot soup, fresh salad, gourmet entree, and delectable dessert with a glass of champagne, along with an intermezzo course of champagne sorbet. The gourmet entrée options: Fruits de Mer “Petite Auberge” (broiled lobster tail, fresh diver scallops and jumbo shrimp), Chilean Sea Bass, Beef Wellington, Cotes d’Agneau (rack of lamb) or Filet topped with Jumbo Shrimp.
